After 25 years Souleiado French Dance Group made the decision to no longer perform, practice or teach French Dancing.

 

Souleiado French Dance Group, formerly Les Enfants de Provence, had been performing and giving workshops in dances of France since 1994. The group performed at Celtic festivals, French festivals and celebrations, folk and music festivals, multicultural celebrations and medieval fairs around Australia. Laurel gave workshops in schools, to dance teachers and teachers of French. She taught French dances at Perth International Dancers. Laurel and other members of the group were passionate about French culture and traditions and visited France to attend workshops, obtain costume fabrics and music and to immerse themselves in the customs of different regions of France.
